YFS Programs Receive $100,000 Grant

The Girls’ Inc. and Health Connections Programs, both operated by Youth and Family Services in Rapid City, have been awarded a grant of $100,000 by the John T. Vucurevich Foundation, reports KNBN NewsCenter1.

David Miller, Chief Program Officer for Youth and Family Services, has said that the funds will help the two organizations meet specific goals going forward. Girls’ Inc. will continue to provide educational and recreational activities for girls aged six to seventeen, while the Health Connections Program plans to help meet health and nutritional needs for girls aged five to fifteen, all in under-served areas.
