Western Dakota Tech Opens Badlands Hall

Western Dakota Technical Institute recently opened Badlands Hall, a new facility for diesel mechanics and truck driving education, reports KOTA News. The new hall features new technology including in-floor heating, three-ton shop cranes, an alignment pit, and an in-flor truck sized chassi dyno.

The new facility will allow students access to simulation driving to learn a variety of skills for safe truck driving. Western Dakota Tech President Dr. Ann Bolman noted that the new facility will allow area employers to hire individuals with advanced technological skills.
