It appears that two organizations in the area have been creating their own lists of volunteers, similar to what Council Member Chad Lewis wanted. Both the Black Hills Area Retired Senior Volunteer Program and Leadership Rapid City have been working separate registries of varying ages and skill levels.   Lewis has suggested that the two collaborate on a list, but understands if this is not possible. "I just want to make sure there's a way the people of our city can have a database where they can register," Lewis said according to the Rapid City Journal.
