Rapid City's Youth and Family Services is in need of a major expansion as its services are being taxed due to the increasing needs of the community. According to the Rapid City Journal article, YFS already has the plans in place and has purchased the necessary property to expand, but now it needs $4 million in Vision Funds in order to start the expansion project. The Rapid City Council will be choosing from among 24 other projects that have requested the use of Vision Funds.
