U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Sees Progress in Rapid City

The U.S. Department of Housing and urban Development acknowledged that the City of Rapid City has made progress on its goal of assisting low and moderate income people find housing, reports KOTA News. However, Mayor Steve Allender stated that there are still many more steps to be taken to improve affordable housing in the city.

Allender emphasized the need to ensure that local community members are noticing improved housing conditions—not just the federal government.
