Though Money Sources Not Identified, Teacher Raises Possible

A South Dakota education task force has stated that teacher raises are possible in the next few years. According to the Rapid City Journal article, left out of Blue Ribbon task force's proposal, however, was from what source the money would come from to provide the raises.  Taxes were mentioned as a possible source to cover the $8,000-$10,000 increase in teachers' wages over a three-year period.
