Sturgis Gears Up For Rally 2018

The 78th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is set for August 3rd-12th and the city of Sturgis, its businesses, and its residents are all preparing for the event, reports KOTA Territory News. Al Reiman of Black Hills Harley-Davidson is preparing to host every single visitor to the event, hiring more than 500 employees for Rally week alone.

Reiman expects this year to be big, as attendance has been on the rise in recent years. Employees at Jambonz, a Cajun restaurant in Sturgis, report that the restaurant has been packed with bikers and other foot traffic from open to close during previous years’ rallies.
