Starbucks Sign Coming Down

In the end, there was no fight over the Starbucks sign on the Hotel Alex Johnson. At the December 5th meeting of the Historic Sign Review Committee, a representative for the hotel said the sign would be coming down and that they would resubmit a smaller sign to the committee. The Rapid City Journal has the full story on the results of the meeting.
