The Pennington County Commissioners held a special meeting to determine the fate of the Rochford Road project. According to the Rapid City Journal, while a decision was expected and the public turned out to voice their opinions, Commissioner George Ferebee abruptly called for the meeting to be adjourned due to heated arguments. The motion was passed by a roll call vote and the project's future is still undecided as the federal deadline of July 5th rapidly approaches. Click on this link for the agenda.
