The first Black Hills Music Festival, featuring an eclectic lineup and the opportunity for revelers to vote on headlining acts, is set for May 23-24 in Spearfish, reports the Black Hills Pioneer

The event will be held at the Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort and will feature performances by the following acts

  • Lullwater
  • Communists Daughter
  • One Flew West
  • James David Carter
  • The Icarus Account
  • Another Lost Year
  • Anna Robinson
  • Heath Johnson and The Somethings
  • Tyler Ward
  • Natalie Stovall

Organizers of the event based artist selection in part on surveys of music fans in the Black Hills and designed the festival to allow the audience to weigh in on the headlining performers.

The festival will also feature various games and activities as well as food, drink, and shopping vendors. Tickets can be purchased in advanced on the Black Hills Music Festival's website
