Spearfish Annexation Vote Tuesday

Spearfish voters will decide on the annexation of the Upper and Lower Valleys.

Citizens of Spearfish will vote on the annexation of the Upper and Lower Valleys this Tuesday in a special election. According to a Rapid City Journal article, if approved, this would increase the population of Spearfish by 6% and add 658 acres. The topic has been debated heavily with passionate opinions on both sides of the issue.
