SD Department of Transportation Schedules 2018 Road Improvement Meetings

Numerous meetings to discuss road construction and maintenance projects in 2018 have been set by the South Dakota Department of Transportation, according to the Black Hills Pioneer.  This month, four public meetings will occur in Aberdeen, Mitchell, Pierre and Rapid City. A webinar will also be held for those that cannot attend an in-person meeting.

The Department of Transportation’s 2018 plan includes 15 area-wide plans across the state, 21 regional plans, and 21 statewide projects. Construction in 2018 is dependent upon an anticipated $300 million in federal funding as well as state and local match funding.
