SD Board of Elections Backs Legislation to Block Electronic Voting

The South Dakota Board of Elections has endorsed draft legislation that would bar the use of electronic voting machines in South Dakota, reports KOTA News. The legislation will remove references to voting machines in state law. South Dakota currently utilizes paper ballots in all elections. The legislation was drafted following concerns of hacking across the nation during the 2016 presidential election.
