Rushmore Hockey Association Vies for Hockeyville USA Crown

Newscenter 1 reports that the Rushmore Hockey Association, a volunteer based youth hockey league, is in the running for $150,000 for arena upgrades and the opportunity to host a pre-season NHL (National Hockey League) game.  The Rushmore Hockey Association has already secured $75,000 for renovations to their facility, the Thunderdome.  Rapid City is competing against an arena in Michigan in the final round.  Voting takes place until 9:59pm MST on Tuesday, April 26th.  The winner will be announced around 2pm on Saturday, April 30th on NBC.
