Rapid Ride Youth Program Sees Marked Increase In Use

With a 20 percent increase is use over last year, Rapid Ride’s Youth Program is kicking off the school year well in Rapid City, reports KOTA Territory News. The program provides free transportation to grade school students and was implemented in an attempt to improve student attendance.

The service has proven convenient for both students and families and city officials believe that the increase in ridership has come from positive word of mouth surrounding the service. So far there have been no issues with the program, and there are currently no plans to expand the service as of right now.
