Rapid City Texting-While-Driving Ban Goes Into Effect

Rapid City's new law that bans texting-while-driving took effect Friday.  The law is harsher than the new state law that was passed earlier this year and makes texting-while-driving a primary, rather than a secondary offense.  According to the Rapid City Journal, local police plan on aggressively educating the public on the new law as well as enforcing it over the coming months.
