Rapid City Police Confident in Use of Force Policy

Several national stories have brought focus to how police departments apply force. KOTA spoke with John Olson of the Rapid City Police Department. He told them that RCPD felt comfortable with their current use of force policy. According to the news story, force was used by officers in 536 of the 7600 arrests in 2013.

RCPD's Use of Force policy can be found in the department's rules and procedures, starting at page 58.
