Rapid City Council Approves Tax Financing District

Rapid City TIF will be used for extension of Minnesota Street and power line relocation.

At the July 2 meeting, Rapid City Council members approved a tax increment financing (TIF) district plan that will aid in development of 470 acres of land in east Rapid City.  The majority of the property will be zoned residential and some will be commercial.
