Rapic City Director of Public Works Announced

The City of Rapid City announced Dale Tech will be the Director of Public Works announced the Rapid City Journal. Tech acted as the interim director for 16 months but will be formally approved at the next Rapid City Council Meeting

Mayor Steve Allender says that Tech’s resume and experiences overshadowed those of other applicants. Tech graduated from the University of Nebraska with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering before registering as a professional engineer and land surveyor.  He has worked for the Pennington County Highway Department and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
