PTSD Program Now Available Through Black Hills VA

The Black Hills Veterans Administration Health Care System now offers a Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program that helps veterans cope with PTSD, reports the Rapid City Journal.  The program consists of a ten-bed PTSD unit with an average stay length of eight weeks.  The program includes specific therapy and addresses military and non-military trauma in addition to substance abuse, traumatic loss, and more.

Those suffering from PTSD can contact the National Center for PTSD for more information.
