Transit Service Could be Extended to Piedmont

A study could be in the works to determine if it would be feasible to expand Rapid City's public transportation service to areas outside the city limits. If approved the study would take 9 or 10 months to complete and will evaluate the need for expanding to parts of Box Elder, Ellsworth AFB, Summerset, Piedmont, Black Hawk and other developing parts of Pennington and Meade counties.
