Piedmont Valley Elementary News

Message from the Principal

Welcome back to another exciting school year at Piedmont Valley Elementary. Each year I look forward to the fall because of the excitement of a new school year. I believe that we can accomplish great things at Piedmont Valley Elementary especially if we work together! One of the major events that occurs early in the year includes school pictures. This event will occur on September 23rd and will take place in the old gym. Also, we will have our annual cookie dough kickoff on September 12th. This event is our major fundraising activity of the year. This year we are running our fundraiser through Great American Opportunities. This is the third year we have worked with Great American and we anticipate another great experience! Each year we take the proceeds from our cookie dough sales and purchase playground equipment, library books and other important items for our school. I would strongly encourage you to support our students through the purchase of cookie dough if you are able. Again, all proceeds go directly back to the kids! In closing, I want to thank you for entrusting your child or children with our staff at Piedmont Valley Elementary. We are approaching a student enrollment of 600 students! Seven short years ago our enrollment was 350. I do believe our strong reputation for great academics is creating an environment where many families want their children to attend our fine school. I feel very fortunate to work with many outstanding educators and to have the opportunity to spend time with your children. It is something that makes me feel very blessed.

Yours in Education,

Ethan
