The Pennington County Jail is now offering video chat technology to its inmates, reports KOTA News. Visitation times have also increased. Family and friends of inmates will now be able to visit with their loved ones from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. during the work week, and from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. for remote visitations via video chat.
The services will be available for $14 for 40 minutes, or $7 for a 20-minute video session. The new technology will also be available to inmates’ attorneys and other professional visitors.
