Pennington County Commissioners Reject Property Tax Increase

KEVN Black Hills Fox reports that the Pennington County Commissioners met Tuesday and ruled against raising property taxes.  The Rapid City Journal adds that the attempt comes in response to the wheel tax being rejected by voters.  The Pennington County Road and Bridge Department has a $2.4 million cut in the 2016 budget because of funding.  The property tax proposal was made in an attempt to increase revenue for critical road and bridge projects in 2017.
