"Pawnseum" Could be Next Big Thing

Presidential Pawn, located in Downtown Rapid City was initially as a small addition to The Clock Shop.  Recently the owner merged the pawn shop and museum concepts to become a "pawnseum" reports the Rapid City Journal.  The items in the "pawnseum" are for sale, but the owner is in no rush to sell some of the more museum like items.  These items include a sequined glove worn by Michael Jackson, artifacts from the Apollo moon mission, 35mm negatives of John F. Kennedy Jr. saluting his father during the funeral procession among other things.

By adding rare items to the pawn shop collection and displaying them for visitors, Presidential Pawn is adding an attraction for visitors.  Not all the Presidential Pawn investments are successful, but they wanted an opportunity to showcase some of their rare investments.
