New Park Ordinance Approved by Rapid City Council

The Rapid City Council approved the proposed ordinance to amend park rules and create new regulations in city parks. According to the Rapid City Journal, the new rules concern permits for food truck vendors and animal and motorized vehicle restrictions, such as drones. While there was some concern from residents and business operators, the ordinance passed unanimously, but the Parks and Recreation Department stated that it would help out the food truck vendors with any concerns about the new regulations and make it as smooth as a transition as possible.
