Oglala Lakota County Communities See Thunderstorm Damage

Friday night saw a severe thunderstorm in Oglala Lakota County, reports the Rapid City Journal. The storm, which included 80 mph winds, baseball and softball-sized hail, and rain, damaged over 300 homes, 100 vehicles, and crops throughout the county.

According to Oglala Sioux Tribe Emergency Management, the storm moved across 30 miles and damaged several communities in the county. Some individuals were reported to have attained minor injuries from broken windows and other shattered glass.
