Volunteers from the Off-road Riders Association of the Black Hills worked with officials from the Forest Service's Fall River Ranger District to clean up the popular Railroad Buttes riding area about 15 miles south of Rapid City, reports a post on KOTA's MyTown website.

Clean-up efforts targeted trash, litter and shooting debris left on a small portion of public land that was recently closed to recreational shooting because of safety concerns.
