New Public Safety Building Dedicated at WDT

A new building that will be used for training individuals in public safety was dedicated at Western Dakota Technical Institute, reports KOTA News. Students will receive training in various public safety professions, including law enforcement, firefighting, and paramedics.

The new building also boasts a fitness gym, fully-functional mock jail cells, a fingerprinting lab, and driving simulators. WDT President Ann Bolman hopes the facility will help address the need for more public safety officials in the region.
