A television conglomeration has purchased the television and radio stations that were sold by the company that owned KOTA-TV in Rapid City. According to the Rapid City Journal article, Gray Television, out of Atlanta, GA, already owns KEVN-TV in the city as well, setting the stage for the two stations to begin cooperating on stories as well as combing their equipment. Not known, however, is what the combining of the two news stations will mean as far as job consolidations or if the company plans on expanding the news in Rapid City.
