Mural Comes To Lead’s Prospect Park

A new mural has come to downtown Lead’s Prospect Park, reports the Black Hills Pioneer. “A Map to the Heart of the Hills”, a fifty-by-eleven-foot mural by local artist David Livingston, depicts the meaning of being a part of a town like Lead, according to the artist, and emphasizes the heart of the Black Hills and the community.

This mural is the largest Livingston has ever done, though more of his work is on display in Lead, and took about a month to complete. The artist funded the project through various grants, raising $2,000 in total.
