Meade School District Elects Three New Board Members

Following elections June 2nd, the Meade County School District welcomes three new members to its School Board, reports the Black Hills Pioneer.

Mike Isaacson and Corey Johnson, both of Sturgis, and Charlie Wheeler of Piedmont have been elected to serve three years on the Meade County School Board and will be sworn in on July 13th. Out of 12,396 registered voters in Meade School District, 735 people turned out to vote for these positions. Four other residents ran in the election, including incumbent Shelli Grinager of Summerset. Incumbents Chad Legner of Sturgis and Don Williamson of Piedmont, did not run in this election.
