The 24th Annual Kool Deadwood Nites was held in Deadwood from August 23rd to August 26th, reports KOTA Territory News. The weekend event was a haven for classic car lovers and included parades, shows, concerts, and a classic car auction.
This was the 20th year for the auctions, where 200 cars were sold between Friday and Saturday of the event. Auctioneers from McPherson Auction & Realty said that this year’s top ten cars sold for an average of $60,000. Last year, the top selling car sold for $89,000. Buyers travel from all over the United States, as well as from Europe and Canada.
Next year’s event is scheduled for August 22nd to the 25th. It will be the 25th Annual Kool Deadwood Nites.
