Hot Springs, Sturgis Get Technology Infrastructure Funds

Sturgis and Hot Springs have received grants to pay for technology infrastructure from the South Dakota Broadband Initiative, according to a MyTown post.

Sturgis received $12,610 and Hot Springs received $11,716. The money can be used for network switches, wireless equipment, computers and firewalls.

Institutions eligible to use the funds include libraries, medical and healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, institutions of higher education, public safety offices, government and tribal offices, and community support locations.
