Homeless Connect Day Brings Community Together

Homeless Connect Day brought non-profits and social service agencies together to provide homeless individuals and families one-stop opportunities to look for jobs and sign up for social services in Rapid City.

Homeless Connect Day brought a variety of non-profits and social service agencies together to provide one-stop opportunities for homeless individuals and families to find job opportunites, eat a hot meal, see a physician and even get a haircut. Sponsored by the First United Methodist Church, the fifth annual event focused on coordinating services to more effectively deal with the problems of poverty associated with being homeless.
