Fall Concert Lineup for Civic Center Sparse, Officials Site Aging Barnett Arena

The 2017 lineup at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center currently has fewer acts than in previous years. The Rapid City Journal reports that officials have noted that while up and down years will happen depending the availability of acts coming through the area, the aging Barnett Arena also figures in as many acts can not use to the forty year-old facility due to its limitations for larger shows.
