Expanded Vacation Home Rule Changes Worry County Residents

Pennington County commissioners have voted to expand the areas where vacation home rentals may be located. One of the changes include allowing rentals in neighborhoods zoned suburban residential district. The Rapid City Journal higlights that this decision is being criticized as many local residents oppose the change and fear seeing more rental units near their properties and the problems that could be associated with them and their renters.
