Ellsworth AFB Partnering with Private Contractor to Build New Base Housing

Ellsworth AFB is currently working with private contractor Balfour Beatty Communities to build an additional 214 new homes and housing units for base personnel to help alleviate the wait lists for on-base housing.  According to a Rapid City Journal article, the new units will cost $64 million to build.
