Early School Release Wednesdays Likely Ending

The Rapid City Area Schools board is moving closer to eliminating early release Wednesdays from future school years. The Rapid City Journal reports that School Superintendent Lori Simon and board members have examined the evidence collected and have decided that the issues that the early release days has caused far outweighed any benefits in teacher training opportunities it was supposed to bring. The school board is looking at other options for teacher training possibilities.
