Dispute Over Property with Mount Rushmore Views Pits Adelstein Against Neighbors

Former state legislator Stan Adelstein wants to build an access road to his remote property near Keystone, but several neighbors are contending that he has not offered any significant negotiations to put the road through their properties for the access. According to the Rapid City Journal article, the Pennington County Commission has postponed taking any action on Adelstein's request and have recommended that he negotiate directly with the property's neighbors before coming back to the commission. Lawyers for both Adelstein and his neighbors are each contending that the other side is bullying the other.
