Department of Veterans Affairs Looks to Upgrade Records System

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin recently announced that the agency will soon make improvements to its technology system, reports KOTA News. The improvements are part of an effort help improve patient care and reduce wait times.

The new system will replace the VA’s current records management system, known as Vista. Vista has been used by the VA for decades. A cost estimate of the technological updates has not yet been released.
