Click It or Ticket

The National Highway Safety Administration sponsors May Mobilization annually.  The Rapid City Journal explains May Mobilization focuses on the importance of seat belt usage.  If a law enforcement agency receives grant money, they are required to participate in the "Click It or Ticket" campaign each May.  The Rapid City Police will have four extra officers on duty at various times for saturation patrol.  Anyone pulled over for a violation and not using their seat belt will automatically receive a $20 citation for the seat belt violation.
