Rapid City Takes Over Struggling Water System

Residents of the Mesa View subdivision east of Rapid City limits who have been struggling with water quality issues for years are getting some much needed help. According to the Rapid City Journal, the Public Works Committee has unanimously recommended that the city take over the water system to ensure its users have access to better water quality. The system currently run by the subdivision is at high risk of contamination.
