City and National American University Agree to End Lawsuit

The Rapid City Council voted to bring an official end to a lawsuit brought against the city by National American University from 2013. According to the Rapid City Journal article, the lawsuit was brought on after the City Council denied a building permit to the university. The new building was to have been an office building for the city-based school, but its construction was fiercely protested against by neighbors of the property.
