Canyon Lake Upgrade Project to Begin September 2013

The second phase of a renovation project to Canyon Lake dam and spillway will begin after Labor Day 2013.  According to a Rapid City Journal article, dredging will target the deeper parts of the lake near the dam and assure the safety of the dam for the future.
