BHSU Forms Strategic Partnership With Botswana U

Black Hills State University in Spearfish inked a partnership agreement with Botho University in Botswana. Leaders say Botho will benefit from BHSU's strong business program while BHSU will benefit from Botho's strong computing program, according to a BHSU news release.

Leaders of the schools signed a memorandum of understanding at BHSU in March 2015, and BHSU representatives traveled to Botho that same month.

The areement makes Botho one of 15 international institutions with which BHSU has a partnership and the only African institution to partner with the Spearfish university.

Listen to an interview about the agreement with BHSU President Tom Jackson Jr. on South Dakota Public Radio.
