Belle Fourche School District Proposes New Budget

The 2015-2016 school year budget has been proposed by the Belle Fourche School District, reports the Black Hills Pioneer.

This year’s budget would total to $14,027,633, up from the 2014-2015 budget of $13,603,665. This budget breaks down into these catagories: general fund - $8,858,000, capital outlay fund - $1,707,500, special education fund - $2,098,000, pension fund - $139,930, bond redemption fund - $188,553, food service fund - $694,900, other enterprise fund - $298,000, and debt service fund - $42,750.

The school district’s revenue per student for the 2015-2016 school year has been set at $4,876.76 per student.
