Belle Fourche Chief of Police Resigns

Belle Fourche Chief of Police Scott Jones last week, reports the Black Hills Pioneer. Jones resigned his position due to health concerns and recently started as a part-time officer with the Lead Police Department.

The Belle Fourche Police Department is meeting this week to discuss day-to-day operations following Jones’ resignation. Sergeant Jeremy Biegert is currently responsible for daily activities of the police department.
