After several months of accepting proposals for a new name, Executive Director of the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Craig Baltzer has said that the committee has finally chosen one. According to KOTA Territory News, the new name remains a secret for now, however.
Plans to break ground on the new $130 million arena have been set for October. Public presentations to display the updated arena designs are coming, Baltzer says. Money will also need to be set aside for marketing to re-brand the Civic Center on local, regional, and nation levels.
