At their next meeting, Rapid City Council will consider Mayor Sam Kooiker's nomination for a Public Works director. Kooiker announced his selection of Terry Wolterstorff, who has worked as a city engineer in Gillette, Wyoming and Belle Fourche and earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from South Dakota State University.
